From 2026, the new programme, which is funded by the Schöpflin Foundation, will be open to two media professionals from Germany, Austria and Switzerland who are working on a start-up or innovation idea in the field of public service journalism.
The fellowship aims to strengthen the participants' leadership and innovation skills. They will spend a trimester at the Reuters Institute, followed by a stay at Publix. The application phase for the new Publix Fellowship will begin in January 2025.
