What is the purpose of Friends of Publix?

Friends of Publix provide vital financial and programmatic support.  We provide discounted workstations as well as audio and video studios for individuals and organizations. Our goal is to develop a high-quality program while keeping admission prices affordable. Every member of Friends of Publix plays a crucial role in making Publix more inclusive, diverse and innovative. 

Our goals

• We want to strengthen journalism and its essential role as a mediator and educator in our society. 
• We want to give everyone access to reliable information and enable them to participate in public discourse. 
• We want to strengthen social cohesion and counter digital violence. 
• We want to find answers to technological developments that endanger democracy. 
• We want to support media professionals who want to inform and inspire with their work and offer their audiences new perspectives.

What do you support with your contribution?

We are looking for private individuals, foundations and companies who would like to support Publix ideologically and financially through one-off or recurring sponsorships or donations.  

The financial proceeds of Friends of Publix benefit Publix gGmbH 100%, with funds directed where support is needed most. In the first year, 50% of the proceeds are invested in our program with the remaining 50% directed towards running the house. 

What does a membership cost you?

Financial support is provided in the form of a one-off or recurring sponsorship/donation.

• Minimum annual contribution: €5,000  
• Suggested annual contribution: €10,000  
• Ideal annual contribution: €25,000
