Opening Address by Shirish Kulkarni

The journalism of tomorrow will look, sound and feel very different from the journalism of the past and will need new and innovative ways of thinking and working. To collectively build a future for journalism that’s effective, equitable and sustainable, we need to be ready to take on those challenges.

Journalist, researcher and community organiser, Shirish Kulkarni, will set the scene for the day with a series of provocations to traditional thinking. He'll also point the way towards some radical answers to some of journalism’s biggest questions.
