The war of aggression against Ukraine was accompanied by increased repression of independent media in Russia. An entire media landscape was forced to leave the country and continue its work in exile. On the JX Fund panel, Katerina Abramova from Meduza, Maxim Kurnikov from Radio Echo and a media lawyer will talk about the challenges faced by journalists and media in exile and discuss how to build a sustainable exile media landscape.
The panel will be moderated by Christian Mihr, Managing Director Human Rights Impact, Amnesty International Germany.
